According to research, one of the main deterrents for installing a mains-connected water cooler at home for most people, is the “hassle”. Pressure Coolers are the UK’s leading supplier of mains connected water coolers and have discovered a solution that’s simpler than you would imagine…
The company have discovered the YLR2-5RAC model, which is a cold and ambient temperature water cooler. It features two empty 12-litre bottles and fifty caps. Matthew Mitchison of Pressure Coolers explains, “The idea is that you can fill the bottles yourself – whether from a tap, filtered water, or bottled water.”
A push-cap fit over the bottle, which is then mounted onto the cooler. This is quite possibly the cheapest way to have a watercooler with bottled water and is ideal for both the home and small business. The cooler also features an integral spring-loaded cup dispenser and detachable drip tray, while a compressor-based coolant circuit provides a cooling capacity.
The device is simply an opportunity for domestic homes to discover alternative means of getting their water supply. Today, there exists a choice of the types of water households can fill their coolers with. It is something that will trigger plenty of thought concerning where our water actually comes from. Mains-connected filtered water will take out impurities of tap water and will allow a much easier and convenient manner for re-filling the cooler. While many people will opt for re-filling their coolers with mineral bottle water, they may suddenly discover that this will defeat the purpose as they find themselves, not only buying into the injustices of mineral water bottle companies (at times unknowingly), but lugging back home from the supermarket, heavy loads of water.
Convenience is the key priority here – and the water cooler, with its ability to dispense water freely and easily is already on its way to becoming a household name! For further details, please visit: www.pressurecoolers.co.uk

Under-sink solutions for the domestic kitchen
Space, time, money, not to mention, the environment – as if these were not reasons enough – families in the UK still continue to use bottled water instead of a mains-connected water cooler.
Awareness of the issue is a major concern. While corporations and governments have grasped the concept of the mains-connected water cooler, the idea has still failed to extend to private households. One of the most common misconceptions of the mains-connected water cooler has been cost. Secondly, the “hassle” of getting one fitted, and thirdly, limited levels of awareness.
While water has been an issue many of us have already woken up to – the alternatives to bottled mineral water have been rarely publicized on a level that will impact the general public as a whole. The truth about bottled mineral water companies is very rarely revealed – and a truth that has indeed been obscured by glamour of advertising campaigns. As bottled mineral water companies in hot countries such as Spain continue to dry out fresh mountainous regions and take ownership of water that intrinsically belongs to the locals, non-suspecting consumers continue to buy into the injustice. Furthermore, bottled water, not only constitutes too much plastic waste, but also to pollution whilst being transported – which means that it is not only making a profit at the cost of the locals, but also damaging to the environment.
Matthew Mitchison of Pressure Coolers, has understood the importance of communicating the benefits of mains-connected water coolers into the domestic home, “It’s a process that need not be confined to industrial clients. Many people think it’s going to be a hassle, but it’s quite possibly the most convenient, economic, safest and easiest method of accessing fresh, clean water – and what’s more, anyone who invests in a mains-connected water cooler, is most definitely doing their part for the environment.” Pressure Coolers have a series of options concerning mains-connected water coolers for the home; further details about this can be found at, www.pressurecoolers.co.uk

Water – it could be magic!
Water is magic in every sense of the word. From combating illnesses to ensuring that our bodies, which are 70% water, are hydrated to prevent headaches, fatigue and poor concentration. Yet a chemical-ridden supply defeats the object, which is exactly why more and more people are installing mains-connected water coolers in the home.
Pressure Coolers realized the damage that chemical-ridden tap water was doing some 40 years ago. It took Matthew Mitchison about 10 years of industry research to create his company, Pressure Coolers. “I wanted to find a way of accessing fresh, clean, chemical-free water. I had heard about mains-connected water coolers so I did my homework, linked up with some reputable suppliers and began distributing” he says.
Fluoride is a common culprit that has been linked to tooth and bone porosity, early aging, arthritis, osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s disease, memory and neurological impairment, kidney disorders, genetic damage and cancer. The chemical’s release into water was backed by the British Dental Association, which argued that Fluoride was a chemical that helped combat tooth decay in young children. According to scientific research, fluoride offers no benefits and the only way dental benefit can be derived is from direct physical contact with the exterior of the tooth – not from drinking fluoride-treated water. What’s more, it is also believed that fluoride causes a chemical reaction that extracts lead when it interacts with water pipes and solder, causing serious health problems. According to Dr Dean Burk, former Chief Chemist at the National Cancer Institution, “Fluoride causes more cancer, and causes it faster, than any other chemical”.
From acid-rain to the industrial discharge of chemical wastes, the UK’s drinking water is not entirely up to standard and depending on area is contaminated by a number of chemicals as well as fluoride. Dysfunctional sewage systems that breed bacteria or farms with livestock operations are a common cause of polluted water while food processing waste, tree and bush debris, leakages from retail service stations underground tanks and oil field operations are all water pollutants that constitute to unclean, unhealthy and dangerous drinking water.
Levels of awareness are rising, particularly with the infamous fluoride debate hitting the headlines in recent years. For further details regarding the environmental benefits of mains-connected water coolers,, please visit: www.pressurecoolers.co.uk

A popular alternative to mineral water
Pressure Coolers have been supplying mains-connected water coolers into the home for no less than 30 years. Having played a role in revolutionizing the concept of purifying water, the company have experienced an influx of orders as the popularity of mains-connected water coolers continues to soar.
Mineral water bottles have been a prime option for many years, yet with environmental awareness on the rise concerning plastic waste and carbon dioxide emitted from the transportation of bottles, mains-connected water coolers are becoming an alternative option. Previously, water cooler companies such as Pressure Coolers found most of their clients to be public and private sector organizations – however, the company have been one of many in the UK to witness the rise of domestic installation, particularly of the POU water cooler.
Proven to be perfect for the home, many people are discovering the hassle-free advantages of refreshing filtered water from the tap. With automatic, plumbed water coolers connected to the mains, the strains of carrying large quantities of mineral water from the shops has become a far and distant memory. Petrol prices for so-called bottled spring water are fast becoming a thing of the past and when calculated, the cost of a mains-connected water cooler works out to be much more economical than bottled water that pollutes when transported and constitutes to plastic waste. Pressure Coolers have tapped into the environmental and economic advantages of mains-connected water coolers, further details concerning their range can be discovered at www.pressurecoolers.co.uk

How safe is our water?
With chemicals and pollutants invading our drinking, cooking and bathing water on a constant basis, we are never too far from contracting an illness or even life-threatening disease. While 20 years ago, the benefits of drinking filtered water were unheard of, today, more and more people are turning to water-filter systems to ensure a clean, healthy supply of calcium rich water. UK based water filter suppliers, Pressure Coolers have been helping to raise awareness of dangerous chemical ridden water for the last thirty years, witnessing an increase in number of people opting for a safer drinking supply.
Troublesome elements such as Iron, Manganese and Hydrogen sulphide have been responsible for the contamination of the water we drink. Having carried out intricate levels of industry research, Pressure Coolers is one of very few water filter companies to have identified the most effective systems for purification.
Hydrogen Sulphide in particular is an element that causes an unpleasant odour, making water near impossible to cook with or drink. Technologies employed within the POU Water cooler will filter out unpleasant chemicals such as Hydrogen Sulphide, Iron and Manganese. At the same time, the system will allow for both chilled and ambient or hot and chilled water, just in the same way as a bottle cooler.
Pressure Coolers Limited has been in the business of providing water filter systems since 1963 – well before the dangers of contaminated water were even publicized. As a sole distributor and service centre for OASIS water coolers, the company have been helping to spread the word about the dangers of tap water and the best methods for prevention of illnesses.
It is disturbing to discover that there are countless lethal water-based illnesses that can be inflicted, particularly if you are living in an area where the water is drawn from a local lake, river or valley – as these are areas in which animals and bacteria also breed. In fact unfiltered water can lead to a number of illnesses and diseases, including Anaemia, Diarrhoea, Flourosis and lead poisoning.
One of the most heated debates to surface in recent years has been the issue of fluoride in tap water. According to a report published in the Guardian newspaper, fluoride has been responsible for causing bone cancer in boys. Making reference to a new American study, the results indicated that boys aged between five and 10 “will suffer an increased rate of osteosarcoma” – otherwise known as bone cancer. Disturbing is the fact that the UK’s British Dental Association has approved fluoride, while the Department of Health maintain that the chemical is not only cost effective but will help prevent tooth decay in children.
The greater the levels of awareness concerning our water and its so-called regulation, the better and more effective measure we can take. According to Pressure Coolers, “it is essential that we are aware of the facts so that we can take effective action that will protect us and the health of our children.” For further details, please visit www.pressurecoolers.co.uk
